Description

The Fellowship in Neuroimaging is a subspecialty radiology training program designed to develop advanced expertise in the imaging and interpretation of neurological diseases affecting the brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system. Delivered over 2 years through hospital-based training, the program combines structured academic instruction with supervised clinical practice in advanced imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, and functional neuroimaging techniques. It emphasizes competencies in stroke imaging, neuro-oncology, neurotrauma, neurodegenerative disorders, and neurovascular conditions, alongside research and quality improvement training, preparing graduates to provide high-level diagnostic support within multidisciplinary neurological care teams in Rwanda and beyond.
