Description
The PhD by Research in Anatomy is a full-time doctoral programme designed to train independent researchers and scholars in anatomical sciences. The programme focuses on conducting original research that advances knowledge in anatomy and its application to biomedical sciences and healthcare. The curriculum combines advanced coursework in research methodology, biostatistics, medical education, leadership, and supervised research leading to a doctoral thesis. Key areas of research include gross anatomy, clinical anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, anatomical education, and translational anatomy. Graduates are prepared for careers as academic anatomists, biomedical researchers, research leaders, and consultants in universities, research institutions, healthcare organizations, and policy-making bodies.
Entry Requirements
- Master of Science in Clinical Anatomy, Anatomical Sciences
- The candidate should be healthy
- The candidate should not have criminal antecedents
- They must satisfy common university requirements for PhD Degrees at the University of Rwanda.
